Dr. Naomi Doak is the Regional Coordinator for Counter Wildlife Trafficking for WCS, covering the Greater Mekong Countries and South Asia. She has worked in international biodiversity conservation, specializing in efforts to combat illegal wildlife trade and protected area management, for over 20 years. She has held positions with The Elephant Protection Initiative, The Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, IUCN, and TRAFFIC. At The Royal Foundation Naomi was responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of the Foundations’ Conservation programme. Key to the role was the development and coordination of United for Wildlife, an unprecedented alliance between seven of the world’s most influential conservation organizations, led by The Duke of Cambridge and The Royal Foundation. She led the establishment of the Transport and Financial Taskforces, two of the largest private sector led initiatives focused on combatting illegal wildlife trade
